Since the demand for rehearsal and production rooms grew steadily, DOCK 11 maintained additional temporary production rooms in gyms or factory floors from 2000 to 2008. The need to improve the spatial situation for the artists has existed for a long time. For reasons of content and economy, DOCK 11 therefore expanded in 2009 by a further approx. 3230 sqm on a plot of 4980 sqm, the EDEN *****: 5 studios, two villas and a coach house.
The new immense expansion through room formats of the EDEN ***** from 9-300 square meters offer all kinds of art studios and production rooms. Starting in November 2009, they will serve as a platform for new cross-genre artistic development and exchange.
