Hip-hop, Reggae | Sean ‘Smartiez’ Crooks's humble beginnings on homemade turntables grounded him to strive for more. Not satisfied as being labeled a “club DJ”, Smartiez has invested in his craft, exploring modern genres to create fresh and new mixtapes.
He regularly appears at one of Toronto’s urban radio stations, Vibe105 FM. There, he produces his own radio show, The Essentials, showcasing a broad variety of new and forgotten music as well as many talented artists.
DJing for some of the biggest artists in the industry, Smartiez has made himself a name with his performances for The Weeknd, Rihanna and Drake.
