The building of the functionalist theatre has been part of the Brno Exhibition Centre since 1928. Since its construction it has been used not only as a theatre, but also as a cinema or a congress hall. It has hosted concerts and fashion shows, and even housed a crop exchange for several years. The theatre café, which for many years served as a restaurant during trade fairs, has also undergone changes over time. However, the theatre has been closed for many years and despite repeated attempts it has not yet been repaired and put back into operation.
