O Dinara Alieva
Dinara Aliyev was born in Baku (Azerbaijan). She graduated from the School of Music of Piano. In 1998 she was accepted to the Academy of Performing Arts in Baku, graduating in 2004. She has participated in master classes with Jelena Obrazcovova and Montserrat Caballé. She started her career as a singer in the theater of opera and ballet in Baku, where she was a soloist in the period 2002 – 2005 and played a major role in the performances of Verdi’s Il Trovatore (Leonora), from Puccini’s La Boheme (Mimi), La Traviata by Verdi (Violetta), Clowns from Leoncavallo (Nedda). Dinara Aliyev repertoire includes principal roles in operas for soprano Western European and Russian composers of classical and romantic era, postmodernism and 20 century, including operas by Verdi, Puccini, Tchaikovsky, The Marriage of Figaro and The Magic Flute by Mozart, by Louise G. Charpentier and from Gounod’s Faust, Carmen and The Pearl Fishers by Bizet, Tsar’s Bride by Rimsky-Korsakov and Pagliacci by Leoncavallo.
