Dada Pogrom

Dada Pogrom's founder and sole permanent member is Kenneth Walter Balys. K is an embedded software engineer specializing in cinema and electronic music. He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Bishop's University and a 4th grade piano certificate from the Royal Conservatory of Music. He has composed hundreds of musical works and has been producing and performing electronic music since 1981. He harnesses technical knowledge garnered from years working in aerial geophysics and communications engineering to make art. Heavily modified and custom built sound and cinema machines form the core of the dada laboratory. K has twice climbed Denmark's highest peak, the Himmelbjerget, without oxygen. He is a great grandson of Iceland's most beloved composer, Dr. Sigvaldi S. Kaldalóns. He is a member of the Audio Engineering Society and the IEEE. He lives in Reykjavík, Iceland. His name was included on a disk mounted on the Nasa Phoenix Probe that landed on Mars on May 25, 2008. He is currently directing his first feature film in both English and German. It is scheduled for release in 2020.
