Daði Freyr
Eksperymentalna, Elektroniczna | Daði Freyr Pétursson is an Icelandic electro musician and singer. In 2012 Freyr founded the indie electro band RetRoBot, with which he released an album. In 2017, he took part in the Icelandic preliminary decision Söngvakeppnin for the Eurovision Song Contest and got second place with his self-composed electro title *Is This Love? *. In 2020 he won the preliminary decision with his song Think About Things. He was accompanied by the Gagnamagnið group, which also included his wife Árný Fjóla and his sister Sigrún. After the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 had to be canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Daði and his band were nominated for the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 without a preliminary decision by the Ríkisútvarpið radio station with the self-composed disco song 10 Years. Daði og Gagnamagnið took fourth place.
