Church of St. Martin in the Wall
Church of St. Martin in the Wall (Latin: ecclesia sancti Martini in muro) is a Gothic (originally Romanesque) church in Prague's Old Town. It was built between 1178 and 1187 in the then settlement of Újezd, which was then called Újezd u Svatého Martina after the church. The southern wall of the church adjoined the castle wall, hence the name "in the wall". The church is owned by the capital city of Prague and used by the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren.
