Caskets
Caskets is a British rock band founded in 2018 in Leeds, England. The group originally performed under the name Captives, which it changed in 2021. Its music is commonly categorized within the genres of post-hardcore, alternative rock, and alternative metal. The band is signed to the label SharpTone Records. The current lineup consists of vocalist Matthew Flood, guitarist Benjamin Wilson, guitarist Craig Robinson, and drummer James Lazenby.
The band’s first release was the EP Ghost Like You, issued in 2019. This was followed by a series of singles and subsequently the debut studio album Lost Souls, released in 2021. The album includes tracks such as Glass Heart, Lost in Echoes, and Drowned in Emotion, and introduced the band to a broader international music scene. In 2023, the group released its second studio album Reflections. Before its release, singles such as More Than Misery, Believe, and By the Sound were issued. After the album’s release, the band undertook concert tours across Europe, the United Kingdom, and North America, and also appeared as a supporting act on tours by other rock and post-hardcore bands.
The band’s recent work includes material released after 2023. In 2025, Caskets announced and released their third studio album The Only Heaven You’ll Know. Prior to the album’s release, the singles Make Me a Martyr, The Only Heaven You’ll Know, Closure, and Sacrifice were issued.
