Carlos Souffront

San Francisco based artist Carlos Suffront is way younger than his predecessors from Detroit from the first and second generation of motor city DJs. With his technically elaborate sets and his radio show Crush Collision, the young artist has made himself a name beyond the city's borders. Furthermore, he co-founded the Interdimensional Transmissions party series.

In Detroit, Carlos has played himself into the hearts of the crowd with his residencies at Sardine Bar and Labyrinth. In his sets, which have gained him a reputation as one of Detroit's most talented DJs, Suffront mixes his own approach to electronic music with up to three turntables.
