Camea

Camea is the founder of Clink Recordings, a mainstay artist on BPitch Control, runs the imprint and radio station Neverwhere and is one of the few female American DJs who made it to the main stage with her approach to analog dystopian techno and sci-fi house.

As a child, Camea learned playing the piano and clarinet, later, she became a passionate DJ. While studying in Northern Washington, Camea went to her first rave just across the border, in Vancouver. She was immediately fascinated with the music and the atmosphere and decided, to make music herself.

Listening to Camea’s releases, their utility on the dancefloor is immediately apparent: fascinating grooves and surprising melodies characterize her music, reflecting her attitude and passion for the music with roots in the mid 90s Pacific Northwest rave scene.

As an internationally touring DJ based in the techno capital of the world, Berlin, she has made her way through Seattle and New York City to become a renowned artist, label owner and mother.
