King Ayisoba

Hip-hop on African soil blend in perfectly with the lifestyle of young generation and created a unique subculture. An example is the dominant style of contemporary Ghanaian hiplife called, which is a fusion of rap and African highlife music, dance and mixed with reggae. High rising star of the genre is King Ayisoba, whose deep and sharp voice can cut through the barrage of African drums as a chain saw. He was born as one of 14 siblings, he had his father with 3 wives, his grandfather, professions shaman-sorcerer, his childhood prescribed as medicine traditional two-stringed guitar kologo on which you can play melodies and crisp rhythms. With masterful control tools it chose to partner one of the greats of Ghanaian music Bonchaka Terry, with whom he performed Ayisoba together and composed. Bonchaka but at the peak of his career was tragically killed in a traffic accident. When he Ayisoba put on a solo career, linking kologo guitar with electronic rhythms totally changed Ghanaian hiplife: 2007 won a local music prices simultaneously in the categories of contemporary and traditional music. His work represents the rawest and most authentic of what Africa penetrates the world.
