Bill Ryder-Jones
The multi-instrumentalist, producer, string arranger and composer Bill Ryder-Jones has a fifteen-year career behind him - a rarity in a world that's so often new. At the tender age of 13 he founded together with school friends the band The Coral. As a solo artist, he convinced with his musical interpretation of Italo Calvinos If On A Winter's Night A Traveler. It was followed by the albums A Bad Wind Blows In My Heart and the highly acclaimed West Kirby County Primary (2015). Over the years, he has constantly broadened his artistic range and developed a broad sense of authenticity, intimacy and individuality. Yawn was recorded in its entirety by Bill Ryder-Jones, produced and expanded with a little help from friends. Including guest vocals of The Orielles and Our Girl as well as cello parts by Rod Skip.
