Świetliki

Świetliki were created in October 1992 in Krakow, and debuted in December of that year during a meeting of poets Na Głos. Over the years of their existence, Świetliki have consolidated their own musical style and have become a permanent fixture in the consciousness of their listeners. The leader of the group Marcin Świetlicki is not only the band's vocalist, but primarily a poet who performs his own poems. He has won many awards, including the Kościelski Prize and the Gdynia Literary Award.

In 1995 Świetliki recorded their first album Ogród koncentracyjny (Concentration Garden). The album aroused a lot of interest both among the media and fans. As a result, a year later the group was invited to the Polish Song Festival in Opole. The band consolidated its position by releasing their second album Cacy Cacy Fleischmaschine in November 1996, nominated to Fryderyk (most prestigous Polish music award) in the categories of "alternative music" and "poetic song". In June 1999 a very well received album Perły przed wieprze was released. The year 2001 brought another album Złe misie with guest appearances by Kasia Nosowska and Lech Janerka. Four years later, the album Las Putas Melan-ccolitas was released, on which Bogusław Linda performed as a fully-fledged member of the band. The song Filandia, coming from this album, performed with Grupa MoCarta was on the Hit List of the Third Polish Radio Programme for 30 weeks. The sixth album of the group was Sromota. It was released after eight years of break or if you prefer mental-spiritual holidays. The three discs contained 36 tracks.
