Ulf Dirk Mädler
After completing his studies in singing and opera at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Ulf Dirk Mädler attended the Meisterclass with renowned international lied interpreter Wolfgang Holzmair. He had been an ensemble member at the Magdeburg Opera House for nine years. He has been a resident in Berlin since 2009 and a freelance opera and concert singer.
His guest engagements took him to places like the Hamburgische Staatsoper, the Salzburger Landestheater, the Oper Graz, the Staatstheater Kassel, and the Staatsoper Prag. He frequently attends the Berliner Staatsoper Unter den Linden as a guest. Since more than a decade ago, Ulf Dirk Mädler has also been active in the concert scene in addition to his operatic work. As a result, he performed with numerous ensembles, including the Jenaer Philharmonie, the Mitteldeutschen Kammerorchester, the Leipziger Gewandhausorchester, the Thomanerchor, the New Philharmonic Frankfurt, and the Sinfonietta da Camera Salzburg.
