Cancelled: Poetry Slam Köpenick

Poetry Slam – the modern competition of poetry, comedy and spoken word has made it from the pub format to the very big houses and to the UNESCO World Heritage Site in recent years.

Since 2019, spoken word artists have also been dueling it out in Köpenick at the legendary Freiheit Fünfzehn to win the favour of the audience and the victory bag, which the audience fills with all kinds of nonsense, valuables and love letters. The rules? The text must be written by the artist, there is a time limit, and no props or costumes are allowed. Apart from that, anything that makes the stage shake is allowed.
