Kasta

Formed in 1997, Kasta (Каста) is a legend of Russian rap. Hailing from Rostov-on-Don, the band consists of four members: Vladi, Shim, Hamil and Zmiej. Starting their career with a hardcore hip-hop sound that drew on East Coast inspirations, they eventually turned towards a more diverse palette. They currently have 10 full-length studio albums to their credit, the most recent of which is 2020's Chernila osminoga; they have also released a number of side releases, which even include a children's album.
