Chad VanGaalen

In Chad Vangaalen's work a traditional songwriter, vocal-guitar asceticism interweaves with eccentric electronics, garage momentum and elements of North American folk. The lyrics of his works skillfully maneuver between difficult and uncomfortable issues, and idyll, playfulness, and jokes. He is also a talented cartoonist and animator, illustrated all his recordings, created videos and covers for many Canadian and American musicians.
