Blauka

Blauka is a Polish band located somewhere on the indie pop spectrum, they prefer to categorize themselves as ‘rock-tinged retro-recreational lounge’ – which means basically the same, but that this music has much more flair and gusto. Blauka is run by Georgina Tarasiuk (vocals, lyrics) and Piotr Lewańczyk (bassist, producer).

Blauka is perceptive, often humorous lyrics and a rare approach to musical composition. Their songs are a collection of thoughts and dreams, thrown into an abstract bag full of grotesque, absurdity and distance to themselves.
