Berliner Weisse
Berliner Weisse is an Oi! punk band from Berlin, founded in 2000, which played its first gigs in the same year. The initially nameless band named itself only on this occasion, after a drunken night, in the beer specialty from the German capital.
In their songs, the band sings about typical skinhead themes such as the so-called "way of life" of being a skinhead, excessive alcohol consumption and, unlike often usual in the "scene", do not necessarily take themselves too seriously. They distance themselves from Nazi bands especially with songs like Keine Toleranz, Fahnen im Wind and Thor Steinar.
