Baťa & Kalábůf něžný beat

Bata & Kalábůf gentle beat is fine bigbeat band shooting glances across the Elbe. Views posted once a paradise, obscured by smoke from cigarettes and again rinsed with alcohol as a medical scalpel. Kalábůf gentle beat originated around 1992 in the North Bohemian town of Štětí and for their existence played hundreds of gigs. The band in the first months of its inception has played mostly around Štětí and Melnik and the founding assembly remained only Bata and Kulhánek. The repertoire consisted of songs from their own times previous bands (SAP, cinema and others), as well as new and taken from Creedence to Yellow Dog. The turning point came with the arrival of guitarist Mirek Riha Herman, when they began to form predominantly own songs.
