Átrium Gallery

Fine art in Prešov had no place during the first years of the new millennium, artists sought in vain a space to present their work, often on the verge of their own existence. The birth of the Atrium Gallery on Floriánova Street was a natural result of solving the situation of the art community.

Thursday, January 13, 2005, is the official day of the new gallery. The first official exhibition of the Honorary President of the Átrium Gallery, Juraj Kresila, took place on a rainy and snowy evening together with the "baptism" of the new gallery's logo at the entrance to the exhibition space.
