Pražský komorní balet
The Prague Chamber Ballet is the largest independent Czech professional dance company. The origins date back to 1964, when Luboš Ogoun, Pavel Smok and Vladimir Vašut based original Studio Ballet Prague. The idea of the Prague Ballet choreographer Pavel Smok followed in 1975 and founded the Prague Chamber Ballet. The emergence of this set was a big turning point in the development of the then Czechoslovak ballet. The repertoire was mainly choreographed by Pavel Smok, while visiting Czech and foreign choreographers (L.Vaculík, P.Zuska, J.Kylián, R.North, Ch.Bruce, P.Delacroix, P.de Ruiter, J.Hackman, J . Kodet, J.Przybylowicz, L.Holánková, and others). For nearly half a century of successful activities and artistic work file passed purposeful and successful development, has become an important representative of dance Czech Republic and Prague in foreign countries (Israel, Lebanon, India, China, Australia, Cuba, Thaiwan, Germany, Luxembourg, Thailand , Georgia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, South Korea) and has won numerous major awards (Czech Literary Fund Prizes for best choreography, Thalia Award for outstanding stage performances, prizes Dance Association of the Czech Republic, etc.).
