Junior Boys calculate its existence since 1999, when, under this name they put together two Canadian friends from Hamilton Jeremy Greenspan and Johnny Dark. Music critics and fans but for the first time took note of up to four years later, when they, despite the departure of Johnny Dark released their debut EP Birthday / Last Exit, in which, inter alia, also discovered by the renowned Austrian electro remix shapeshifter forming under the name Fennesz.
Positive response induced Jeremy Greenspan reach studio engineer Matt Didemuse with which to put together their debut album Last Exit (2004), where Junior Boys first define its typical mix of electronic sound off-beat films and strong melodies, creating a distinct alternative to středoproudému pop.
Two years later came the second studio album So This Is Goodbye, which was released Domino Records and earned the enthusiastic response of audiences and critics as well as a wave of remixes from the likes of names like Hot Chip or Carl Craig.
