Andreas Dresen

His directing credits include Cloud 9, Summer in Berlin, Grill Point and Night Shapes. In 2018 he directed the biography and music film Gundermann. The movie received six awards at the Deutscher Filmpreis 2019, which made it that years most successful competition entry. Dresen is known for his realistic style, which gives his films a semi-documentary feel. He works very teamoriented and heavily uses improvisation. His works has received a number of national and international awards.
