O Alexander Ramm
Alexander Ramm is perhaps one of the most gifted and sought-after cello players of his generation. He has won the Silver Medal at Tchaikovsky International Competition (Moscow, 2015), as well as other numerous musical contests, including 1st Cambridge International Boston Competition (Boston, Mass., 2005) and 1st National Music Competition (Moscow, 2010). As of now, Mr. Ramm is the only Russian national finalist and laureat of the most prestigious Paulo Cello Competition in Helsinki (2013).
Mr. Ramm has performed in numerous cities in Russia, England, Germany,Lithuania, Sweden, Austria, Finland, South Africa, Japan, France and Bulgaria. World’s top concert venues are always eager to feature Mr. Ramm’s solo concerts: he has performed at Brucknerhaus (Linz), Nikkei Hall (Tokyo), Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), Mariinsky Theatre Concert Hall and Tchaikovsky Concert Hall. Mr. Ramm has collaborated extensively with world’s leading music conductors: Vladimir Spivakov, Valery Gergiev, Vladimir Yurovsky, Mikhail Yurovsky, Alexander Sladkovsky and Valery Polyansky.
