Adam Plachetka

Adam Plachetka was born in 1985 in Prague, where he attended the Prague Conservatory under Professor Luďka Löbl. He is a laureate of competitions, such as the MPS Antonin Dvorak. In 2005 he made his debut at the National Theatre in Prague. In the following years he studied figures like Don Giovanni, Publius (La clemenza di Tito), Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro), Nardo (La finta giardiniera), Argante (Rinaldo) and Guglielmo (Così fan tutte). The Prague State Opera he appeared as Don Basilio (Il Barbiere di Siviglia) and Papageno (Die Zauberflöte).
