Zbeer
Punk | Zbeer is a Polish oi band active since 1999, hailing from the dirty streets of Sosnowiec and Katowice. Their first album, Time to unite, was the kick that united punx, skins and hardcore crews. Subsequent albums, Tam gdzie kończy się ulica and Co mnie zabija?, were albums that further combined the stylistics of melodic punk and street lyrics, and allowed the band to enter the forefront of Polish punk. It is from Zbeer that the founders and members of such bands as Booze & Glory, Tora Tora Tora and Skunx originated. Their album Co mi zrobisz?, recorded after 8 years since the "suspension" of the band, is yet another proof that despite the passing years, Zbeer still believes in what he does. He hasn't swapped his Martens for patent leather boots, or his Harrington jacket for a suit. It's still hooky, slightly provocative, but also more musically polished material, which shows that these 40-year-old skins still have something to say on stage.
