Greg Osby – one of the main pillars of American jazz, co-creator of the m-base movement, one of the most characteristic and recognizable saxophonists of contemporary jazz. In 1980-1983 he studied at the prestigious Berklee College of Music. He has made an indelible mark on contemporary jazz in the last 30 years. He is appreciated for his insightful and innovative approach to jazz compositions and concerts. Osby is a four-time winner of the prestigious Jazz Journalists Award and a laureate of the composition award granted by the Doris Duke Foundation. Biography of Greg Osby is a piece of jazz history – since the 1980s he has performed and recorded with the biggest stars, such as Herbie Hancock, Dizzy Gillespie, Jack DeJohnette, Steve Coleman, Jim Hall and Andrew Hill. He has recorded fifteen albums for the legendary Blue Note Records. In 2008, Osby launched his own label – Inner Circle Music, which serves as a platform for many of today’s most talented artists from around the world. Tal Cohen born in Israel, raised in Australia, a pianist and composer, is one of the most original and talented musicians in today’s jazz scene. His new album Gentle Giants gained great recognition, including 4 stars in the prestigious Down Beat magazine. Kamila Drabek is a double-bass player and composer from Bielsko-Biała, a student at the Music Academy in Krakow. He permanently cooperates with ONE Quintet bands, Marta Wajdzik Project. Together with saxophonist Marcin Konieczkowicz and drummer Kacper Kaźmierski, they create Tercet Kamila Drabek, who performs the original compositions of the leader.
