Yass! festival 2022

Yass! is an intimate slow festival located in the picturesque town of Cieszyn, on the border between Poland and the Czech Republic, in the unique industrial space of the historic Castle Brewery Cieszyn, aimed at all those who want to "slow down" a bit, miss small-town atmosphere, good music and don't like crowded mass events. From the beginning the festival is based on less and zero waste values with emphasis on ecology and recycling. The organisers want not only to have fun, but also to stimulate ecological awareness, shape environmentally beneficial attitudes and behaviours, and inspire. At Yass! all festival decorations are made of recycled materials, plastics are replaced with fully biodegradable products made of corn starch, and from mesh nets and armbands left over from last year's edition, local seamstress Dorota sewed 50 practical, durable and colourful yass bags, designed by Cieszyn-based artist Justyna Szarowska.
