Xerxes
Xerxes is not unlike sounding hardcore punk band from Louisville, Kentucky. It is difficult to predict whether the band members in their home town as teenagers attended concerts of the local legends as Endpoint, Falling Forward, Metroshifter, Guilt or Elliott, but the spirit of the then underground HC ethics is they definitely noticeable, although musically on their work rather mirrored bands like Orchid, Ampere and Saetia. They fall into such categories as relatives Touché Amore (there is about the closest resemblance), but also Former Thieves or even Code Orange Kids ie. between bands using noisy, emotional, textured, slightly chaotic musical style, slightly reminiscent of the sound of present times called European screamo.
