Wrocław Contemporary Museum

The Wrocław Contemporary Museum exhibits, popularises and collects contemporary art. Its headquarters are currently housed in a cylindrical, free-standing anti-aircraft shelter built in 1942 to a design by the well-known Wrocław architect Richard Konwiarz. In addition to exhibitions, the Museum also offers guided tours, lectures, debates, organises concerts, community projects and conferences. Ultimately, the Museum will be housed in a modern building which will be constructed in the centre of Wrocław, on Purkyniego Street, in the vicinity of Panorama Racławicka, the Museum of Architecture and the Academy of Fine Arts.
