World, Interrupted
World, Interrupted is a darkwave-industrial duo formed in a world put on hold by a pandemic. During the long lockdown months, two people with different musical tastes decided to duel with each other. One of them, building on years of listening to alternative rock, metal and electronica, began to create hypnotic rhythms and a dense electronic atmosphere. The other brought hard rock vocals and energy, allowing both to reinvent themselves musically. The result of this non-obvious combination is unsettling but energetic music with a dark atmosphere and emotional vocals, laced with dirty industrial sounds. The duo's debut EP Deception, Follow Me was released in September 2021 on the Berlin-based label Detriti Records.
