May Day under steam on a narrow-gauge railway? Why not. This is an excellent opportunity for a trip to Tarnowskie Góry or Sucha Gora (a district of Bytom) with the oldest continuously operating narrow gauge railway in the world. We also provide the opportunity to get to know the esteemed Richard, a 72 year old steam locomotive of the Ryś type. We also invite you to take a walk around our Bytom Karb Narrow Gauge station, where at 12 and 3 pm guides will be waiting to talk about the past, present and future of the Upper Silesian Narrow Gauge Railway. There will also be an opportunity to take a ride on a hand-operated draisine (called “machajka”) and see a saloon car from 1912.
