Wiener Klavierquartett

The Wiener Klavierquartett started on the European scene as the Stratos Quartett in 2012. Since then, it has won numerous prestigious awards and invitations to the Vienna Musikverein, London's Wigmore Hall, and beyond the European continent. The cello in the quartet is played by Czech musician Jan Ryska, a graduate of HAMU and the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna, a member of one of the orchestras of the Vienna State Opera. This festival concert is a replica of the programme that Gideon Klein performed with his fellow prisoners in the Terezín concentration camp.
