Weedpecker

For the first time in over 10 years of their activity, Warsaw's Weedpecker will perform in Toruń. The band will play in NRD on 10th March, where they will promote their upcoming album "IV: The Stream of Forgotten Thoughts".

Weedpecker formed in Warsaw around 2012, when the Good Brothers decided to combine their dreamy, psychedelic melodies with stoner heaviness. They have three albums to their credit: the debut Weedpecker and its follow-up II are true temples of green riffing, but it wasn't until their next album, the consequently named III, that elevated the band to the genre's premier league. In its latest incarnation, Green Woodpecker knocks harder than ever on the gates of 60s and 70s psychedelia, yet without forgetting the desert stoner roots. All this is further enriched by beautiful melodies and vocal harmonies, which create an almost magical atmosphere in their music. After a short break and personnel changes, the band returned to concert activity. On December 3 the last album of the band was released, entitled IV: The Stream of Forgotten Thoughts and it is this material that they will be promoting at their first concert in Toruń. Weedpecker will play with a yet unannounced support act.
