Vivat Vila 2021

The second year of the “Vivat Vila” festival is going to take place in the unique functionalist space of Kral’s villa again. It is the most significant building in Prachatice and its surroundings in the context of modernist architecture. The aim of this event is not only to revive this particular place but to bring back life into the town centre as well.

The festival will present the top performers of the contemporary domestic alternative music scene (Vložte kočku, Mutanti hledaj východisko, Tamara, Manon, Meurt, Člověk krve, Tábor and others). There will also be the side events in the historic town centre such as lectures on architecture (Adam Štěch) and music (Miloš Hroch/Karel Veselý) or literary reading (Jan Němec), poetry reading (Tomáš Přidal, Aleš Kauer, Radek Štěpánek) and the pop-up shops of the Host publisher and the FullMoon magazine.
