Villagers of Ioannina City
Contemporary folk | The VICs were founded in the Greek Ioannina in 2007. They play toner and psychedelic mixed with Greek folk from the Epirus region. Traditional, regional music is characterized by polyphony, specific rhythms and melodies, as well as the use of instruments such as clarinet, kaval, bagpipes. The ensemble in an original way combines folk with modern, more psychedelic forms - as a result, they create pieces in which the clarinet is the dominant solo instrument.
