Vesnický hudební klub Chotěmice
The Village Music Club Chotěmice is located at Chotěmice 33, on the road between Tabor and Jindřichův Hradec.
The concept of the private Village Music Club was invented and founded in 1998 by Václav Koubek – accordionist, poet, actor, director. The beginnings of the club were in Chotěmice on the barrow in front of the pub and followed to the theatre at Červená Lhota Castle. At first as an intimate event for a few friends. Gradually Václav Koubek transferred the concerts and all activities to his farm in Chotěmice.
Here he has created a multicultural place where people gather every weekend throughout the summer to listen to good music, meet friends, throw away their worries and find balance and harmony. So every Friday and Saturday from June to September, you can hear bands known, very well known, and almost unknown. Over the years, three bars and an outdoor grill have been installed, providing plenty of food and drink throughout the weekend.
