Vas Bence Trio

The Vas Bence Trio is a new trio created on the initiative of Bence Vas – the leader of the group, composer and hammond player, in search of new forms of musical expression, after his last musical project called Organism. Vas Bence Trio plays complex compositions, where Hammond's organs take over the role of a modern big band, which is complemented by a guitar and drums in the basic line-up. However, the band wants to explore also other sounds by engaging other instruments to their play. Vas Bence Trio is based on the traditional jazz trio arrangement with the organ in the lead role, however, he draws inspiration from many fantastic musical sources, such as progressive rock from Central and Eastern Europe, Polish experimental jazz music or contemporary classical music. The band always tries to create unique sounds by using new, not obvious solutions.
