Two Lanes
Two Lanes is an electronic duo formed by two brothers, Leo and Rafa, based in Berlin, who come from a musically oriented family. Leo completed a master’s program in historical performance at The Juilliard School in New York, while Rafael focused on sound design and electronic production.
The duo’s musical style combines the sound of acoustic piano with analog synthesizers and minimalist rhythmic elements. This approach is reflected in their work across genres such as neoclassical, ambient, and melodic techno.
In May 2023, they released the single Movement, which was part of the presentation of their upcoming debut album titled Duality. In the December 2024 release (EP Reflections), they released the track SIGN, introduced as the first single from an album scheduled for 2025.
In interviews, they stated that Leo records the piano parts, while Rafael focuses on mixing, and they create together, including jamming on synthesizers.
