Turbostaat
Turbostaat is a German punk rock band from Flensburg. „Looking back, I unfortunately can not say, if any one of us would have come to the first band practice, had we known that it automatically meant to have obligations for the next two decades.“ January 7, 1999 was the day when Turbostaat came together for the first time in the storehouse in Husum, to make music in a remote room under the roof, without knowing what sort of massive influence this get together would hold on their lives.
They played their first concert on May 5, 1999, as one of three bands in the storehouse of Husum. Their first album Flamingo was released in 2001.
Meanwhile, the band can look back on a total of seven studio albums, numerous singles and above all a large fan base, which has always accompanied them faithfully.
