Raynor de Groot and Emiel van den Dungen release music and DJ together since 2016 as Tunnelvisions. It is the core of a newly born friendship, as also an obsessed, almost athlete approach to producing music. Multiply that with a lot of fun and fantasy and their success formula is revealed.
Both Ray and Emiel grew up in the south of the Netherlands and learned to play instruments from a young age. Growing up in a creative environment resulted in an addiction to produce music for both of them. Once they started to work together, Tunnelvisions took off – rapidly.
“Bring back the fun to the dancefloor, push the limits of production” – it may be the best way to describe what Ray and Emiel have to offer the current music scene. Percussive elements, analog synth work, and a certain catchiness make their work stand out. Hear it on their new EP Tucan / Rain Dance and LPs Midnight Voyage / The Celestial Ritual.
