Tred

Tred is a Berlin-based artist known for blurring the lines between techno and electro. His sound features a deepe, eclectic palette of sounds that focuses primarily on emotion.

He was originally inspired by the excess of commercial trance as a teenager. Today, Tred's name is often associated with the influential DIY party series Polyrhythmic, which he helped organize in his hometown of Perth. The series is also known as a talent incubator for young Perth artists.

Tred runs his own hardware studio in Berlin and is now a regular guest at the techno institution Tresor. His sets are adept and clever, combining breakbeat, ghetto tech, hardcore techno and trance, while always sticking to a selection of electro and techno sounds. A similar versatility characterizes Tred's tireless studio experiments, which result in fascinating releases.
