Tolyqyn

Rock, Blues | Tolyqyn is a Berlin trio with members Roland Satterwhite on plucked viola and vocals, jazz guitar prodigy Tal Arditi and Egyptian drummer Rafat Muhammad. Their self-titled debut was released in 2020 and garnered much praise in the music press and radio, even leading the band into ZDF-Morgen Magazin. Between rock, jazz, Afro-Cuban rhythms, West African kora music, high-life groove, folk, Tolyqyn explores the boundaries in jazz.
