Tihányi manor house

The Tihányi manor house in Radvany, Banská Bystrica, has undergone several reconstructions over the years. It was originally a ground-floor Renaissance building from the first half of the 17th century, the remains of which have been preserved in the northwestern part of the building. In 1819, the building received a classicist appearance. Further modifications from the 19th century resulted in today's Neo-Renaissance expression of the building.

Since 1989, the natural history department of the Central Slovak Museum has been housed in the listed building of the Tihányi manor in Radvany. Visitors can visit the permanent exhibition Nature of Central Slovakia and various science exhibitions.
