Daan Vandewalle

Daan Vandewalle (* 1968) studied with Claude Coppens at the Ghent Conservatory and with Alvin Curran at Mills College (California). He is currently professor of piano at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent, where he teaches piano history in addition to piano performance. As a solo pianist, his extensive repertoire includes most of the major piano works of the 20th and 21st centuries, including the complete works of composers such as Ives, Messiaen and Scelsi.
