The Low Anthem

The Low Anthem is an American indie/folk band. It was founded by Ben Knox Miller and Jeff Prystowsky in 2016. The current lineup consists of Ben Knox Miller (vocals, guitar, trumpet, saws), Jeff Prystowsky (vocals, drums, bass, synths), Bryan Minto (vocals, guitar, harmonica) and Florence Grace Wallis (violin, vocals).

To date, The Low Anthem has written and produced five studio albums: What The Crow Brings (2007), Oh My God, Charlie Darwin (2008), Smart Flesh (2011), Eyeland (2016) and The Salt Doll Went to Measure the Depth of the Sea (2018).

For their personal, technically complex sound and their love for unusual musical instruments and arrangements, the band was named Breakthrough Artist of the Year by Mojo Magazine in 2012.
