Steve Gunn

Steve Gunn is a New York-based guitarist and songwriter whose style is characterised by a unique blend of folk, blues, free jazz and psychedelia. He has been active for almost fifteen years both as a solo artist, but also in duos and bands, recording for labels such as Matador Records, Three Lobed Recordings, Paradise of Bachelors and RVNG. His recordings feature intricate arrangements, excellent guitar playing, cryptic lyrics and delicate vocals that transform broad stylistic influences into his own brand of cosmic Americana.
