Scratching Fork
Scratching Fork is an around-jazz trio of Toronto musicians that has been around since 2015. The band develops their musical project without looking at trends, focusing on their goals, emotions and remembering their own Kujawy roots. Like the first song of Iluvatar, the idea of forming the group germinated in the mind of guitarist Marek Malinowski, who decided to invite two musicians from Toruń: Wojtek Zadrużyński (drums) and Robert Rychlicki (double bass), who have been companions in the rhythm section for years. Already after the first rehearsal they both became fascinated with the music offered by Marek. Adding their own sounds and emotions, they started to become a part of the band.
