Melvin Touché & The Tom-Toms

Robert Williams from Chicago, and the three musical Berliners Ralf "Trotter" Schmidt, Tommy Goldschmidt and Stephan Hoppe are the members of the versatile and creative troupe Melvin Touché + The Tom-Toms. Folk, blues and traditionals are represented as well as country, rhythm'n'blues and rock.

Together the four musicians create a roots sound based on acoustic instruments. Their performances are always stylistically varied. With Robert's distinctive voice in the center and with the help of the jointly developed acoustic arrangements and the sometimes polyphonic singing, a pleasantly intimate atmosphere is created at their concerts and ensures an intense emotional dialogue with the audience.
